Keeping our own CO2 emissions produced within the company as low as possible is the most important thing for us. This step has already been partly achieved by converting an old department store into a sustainable office building that is 100% energy self-sufficient. We want to keep CO2 emissions low by producing our own electricity using a PV system and the associated electricity storage for night-time consumption. Our vehicle fleet will also be converted to e-mobility in the future. In spring 2020 two electric vehicles were purchased for our employees. By charging the electric cars using solar power, we can thus significantly reduce our CO2 footprint. We are constantly striving to find sustainable transport and packaging solutions and are therefore working intensively with the packaging industry to send sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging to our customers.
The region around Colniza has the second highest deforestation rate in the Amazon. Between August 2012 and March 2013, 1,430 square kilometres of forest were lost, which corresponds to 79 million tonnes of CO2 released. The reason for this is the illegal felling of wood and slash-and-burn clearing in this area. For several years now, Rainforest Alliance has been coordinating an area of 71,000 hectares and ensuring that this area is monitored and sustainable forestry is carried out. With our financial support of the climate protection project, we not only create long-term jobs in this area, but also contribute to the conservation and reforestation of the rainforest, which stores large amounts of CO2.
This means that all emissions from business activities at the company's location are calculated in full and offset through climate protection projects. All emissions generated in the value chain, the transportation of the coffee from the roaster to us, the electricity and heating costs in our company, the packaging and delivery of the coffee to the customer, are fully calculated and offset by Climate Partner.
Within 14 days after delivery you are welcome to return or exchange the item if it does not meet your expectations. To do so, simply send us an e-mail to office [at] coffeechecker.com within this period and state your order number and the items you wish to return.
We will then get back to you as soon as possible with a free return label. Please understand that we cannot consider the cancellation after this period.
Please do not forget to enclose the return form with your package so that we can assign your return. You will receive the returns form with your order confirmation by e-mail.

You have bought a coffee grinder, a portafilter machine or other accessories and the article is now defective?
Then write us a message and send us your order number, if necessary also the serial number of the machine, as well as a detailed error description. You can also send us photos or videos to support this. Our customer service will get back to you as soon as possible.
All our coffees come from 100% natural cultivation. We have both coffees with and without the organic seal in our range. You can recognise certified coffees by the seal on the packaging.
All shipments are insured up to a value of 500 Euro. You can find more information about the shipping conditions here.

As soon as we have received your payment, your order will be on its way as soon as possible and will usually be with you within 1-3 working days after it has been handed over to the Austrian Post within Austria.
Please note that these are only guidelines and not exact details. However, with the tracking system that we will soon be setting up, you will always be able to see where your delivery is and when you can expect it.
For Dropshipping products the estimated delivery time is 5-9 working days. These products are shipped directly to you from the manufacturer/branch office.
For parcels within Austria we charge a flat rate of 4.90 Euro for shipping and handling if the order value is below 50 Euro.
Unfortunately, this is not yet possible at present. We are working on the implementation.
This is no problem: You have the possibility to enter a different billing or delivery address during the order process. As soon as your package has been delivered (i.e. handed over to the shipping service), we have no influence on delivery requests.
After you have completed your order, a confirmation email will be sent automatically. If it hasn't arrived within two hours, the email may have ended up in the "unwanted advertising" or "spam" folder.

Paypal is a very convenient payment method that allows you to pay for all purchases on the Internet with just a few clicks. All orders are also insured for up to 500 Euros via the provider PayPal. If you do not use this service yet, you can create a PayPal account during the checkout process. If you pay with PayPal, we will ship your order as soon as possible.
When paying by credit card, the security of your data is our top priority. The legal requirements for credit card payment are very high in terms of security. Therefore we process the payment via our service provider Stripe. You enter your credit card and verification number at the end of the order process. Afterwards the payment will be processed. Your data will then be deleted immediately. A few seconds later your order can already be processed.

After roasting the coffee specialities, our rosters deliver the coffee fresh and directly to us.
Yes, your order data is transmitted via an encrypted connection and therefore cannot be viewed by third parties. Our partner, the company Stripe, is specialized in the area of online billing and has been tested by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent certification level available in the payment industry.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to view products such as coffee grinders or sieve support machines on site or to pick up an order from our office. Please use our online shop with shipping.
