what is so special about maitz kaffe?
We, the Maitz family, run a small but very fine coffee roastery in the Styrian Vulkanland. Where culinary delights meet rolling hills.
what is our philosophy?
“Roasting fine coffee in our own small factory?” – Why not, we said to ourselves and began to explore the topic of coffee in depth. However, many days, weeks and even seasons passed before we were able to make our first coffee.
Why are we doing this?
In 2016, we made our dream come true. Our small roastery was built step by step. Intensive days drove us from the construction site to green coffee, packaging, brand development and many other stations. The new roastery was built in 2017. An innovative shop-in-shop concept was created.
However, every single effort was worth it.
Today we stand in our small roastery and can devote ourselves to our passion.
