The tamper mat from Cafelat is an essential accessory for the portafilter. The mat protects your work surface when tamping and does not slip. Don’t worry if something goes wrong, the mat is made of rubber and is easy to clean. At 7.5 mm, the Splat Mat is nice and thick and stable.

The design of the tamper mat was created by Danish designer Karina Mencke and is reminiscent of spilt coffee – hence the name SPLAT.
