This variation is based on a recipe from <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.falstaff.com\/de\/rezepte\/kochen\/granita-al-caffe\">Falstaff<\/a><\/em>slightly adapted for 4 portions.  <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h3><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>325 ml strong espresso or mocha<\/li>\n\n<li>165 ml sugar syrup (made from 85 g sugar + 85 ml water)<\/li>\n\n<li>100 ml semi-whipped cream<em>(panna semi-montata<\/em>, optional)<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation:<\/h3><ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bring the sugar and water to the boil in a small pan, leave to cool<\/li>\n\n<li>Prepare the espresso and mix with the sugar syrup<\/li>\n\n<li>Pour into a shallow mold and place in the freezer compartment<\/li>\n\n<li>Stir with a fork after one hour<\/li>\n\n<li>After another two hours, scrape through with a fork<\/li>\n\n<li>Pour into glasses and top with half-whipped cream &#8211; best served chilled<\/li><\/ol><p><strong>PRO Tip:<\/strong><\/p><p>You need the sugar so that the ice cream does not freeze through completely &#8211; you should therefore not reduce the sugar. Add the espresso gradually. If you are already happy with the consistency, you don&#8217;t have to use all the coffee.
